Skincare is one of the most under looked regimen when it comes to beauty. It is the truly most important step in our beauty routine as it affects our age, makeup application, and confidence. Just about a year ago, I started to focus more on my skin and noticed a significant difference. I have combination type skin, but I dealt with dull, dry skin as well. There are many reasons for dull, dry skin, but it’s mostly due to a lack of exfoliating. When I introduced exfoliating into my skincare regimen my skin completely changed. My rough patches went away and I gained a great natural glow. So you know I was excited when I received the Erno Laszlo Vitamin C Peel to review. Not only does it give you a great exfoliation, it also has Vitamin C and other ingredients to help brighten your skin. This is especially great for dark spot and acne scars. After I used this, my makeup went on 10x better, and my skin looked so smooth.
Let’s take a look at the active ingredients
-Lactic Acid: Gently exfoliates skin.
-Carrot Seed Oil: Balances skin while fighting age spots and sun damage.
-Vitamin C: Reduces the look of dark spots and lightens skin.
How To Use
Gently exfoliate onto skin for 2 to 3 minutes. This product smells amazing. When you put it on, it will remind you of someone cutting into a fresh orange. The consistency of the product is smooth and hydrating. You just need a little water on your fingertips to spread the product on your face. There are also little exfoliating beads to help smooth out your skin. After about a minute you will feel the product getting warm on your face. It’s ok, this means the product is working.
Squeeze the applicator on the top to get product into the tube, then apply about 3 drops to your face. Massage this in with the first step. This serum activates the product and hydrates your skin. The serum feels really good and you can tell it’s helping to smooth the skin.
I was skeptical to try this product since it is technically a peel. I was very surprised by how gentle it is and my skin didn’t get irritated at all. Overall, I liked the product and will continue to use it in my weekly regimen. My only concern would be the price. This Peel is a high-end product and the price definitely tells you so. For the 2 step White Marble Vitamin C Peel you will be paying a whopping 100 dollars. Now, I do believe this product will last for a while since you don’t need much of it. You only need to use it once a week and it should last you 4 to 5 months, which is not bad at all. Compared to other masks I have used it is expensive, but I do believe it’s worth it. If you are into high-end skin care, don’t count this one out because you can instantly see and feel the results.
