Hello guys, its Wedensday which means review day! I have been wanting to do this review for a few weeks now, since I went into Ulta and saw that Ardell has come out with magnetic lashes. I didn’t get them then because I didn’t know if I would like them, but I did want to try them out. When I went back to Ulta the next week they were all sold out! I was so disappointed, so I turned to Amazon, and they were almost sold out. I did get my hands on one of the last pairs of Demi Wispies. So, that is what I am going to try out today and let you guys know whether they’re worth it or not.
Ardell Magnetic Lashes
The Description and Instructions
The Ardell® Magnetic Lashes have arrived. Pre-curved band makes application of lashes easier due to the natural lid contour shape of the lash. Easy application – Magnets on top lash easily lock with magnets on bottom lash. Lashes stay put until you’re ready to remove them. Lash styles are all made out of natural hair for the most natural look.
Pop the top lashes on top of your natural ones and try not to blink, then snap the other set underneath so they sandwich your natural top lashes in the middle. Holding the top one down and giving them a squish together to maneuver it into the right place is helpful.
The Try On
This seemed easy enough until I had to do it, lol. I tried putting the top on first, and then placing the bottom underneath like the directions said. The problem is that you cannot see your eye at this point. So you are trying to slide the magnets into place, but you can’t see what you are doing. When you think you got it, you look into the mirror and the lashes are half way down your real lashes. It was a disaster for me. I thought, maybe I’m just challenged when it comes to magnetic lashes. So I stopped and watched two YouTube Videos on it, and guess what. They couldn’t do it either. So I know I’m not crazy. This is something that may be possible, but it’s very difficult, and if I had to choose between regular or magnetic lashes. I would choose regular glue lashes any day, and I struggle with those too.
I’m going to have to pass on this one, which is a first for Wenesday Reviews at Fashionnikki.com. I really wanted to love the Ardell Magnetic Lashes in demi wispies, because it would of made my life so much easier. Unfortunately, I am going to have to stick with the regular Ardell Double Wispies, which are my favorite lashes of all time. Hopefully in the near future someone will come out with technology that you can just pop your lashes on, no glue, no magnet struggle, and just go. I can’t wait for the day, but today regular glue lashes it is. Let me know down below if you have tried Ardell Magnetic Lashes, and if you had did you like them? Would you buy them again? I would love to hear from you. Alright guys, thank you for reading and I’ll talk to you next time!
